WordCamp Ogijima 2020 ONLINE proved you can achieve the real WC enthusiasm and more

On September 6, 2020, WordCamp Ogijima 2020 came to a successful conclusion online. The event was run by more than 50 volunteers, with 430 people, including 30 individual sponsors, registered to attend. According to the Video Distribution Team, there were more than 100 simultaneous connections to the YouTube feed at any given time, with 201 being the largest number. The long hours of the event, which lasted from morning to evening, created a sense of togetherness that was completely comparable to the offline WordCamps, as well as a unique online experience, making it a great success. A proposal letter about WordCamp Check in system

Hi, this is Fumiki from WordCamp community in Japan. At WordCamp Tokyo 2019, we developed a web application called “WP-Checkin”. This post is a proposal for new feature of WordCamp site. TL;DR Japanese community developed QR-based check-in system “wp-checkin“. It was used in 2 WordCamps and get good feedbacks. This features should be useful in global WordCamps. WordCamp Bangkok 2018 Recap

On 17th and 18th February 2018, WordCamp Bangkok team, lead by Watcharapon Charoenwongjongdee, a.k.a. Amm, held a WordCamp Bangkok at Siam University. I (@shinichiN) joined the team as a translator for the mentor, @nukaga, and as a speaker and found it a very success. Here’s a recap of the event with photos and tweets.
